What's cookin?

If you can't handle the heat then stay out of the kitchen. I believe that's what the old saying is. But seriously, two hot shoes dropped recently and consecutively. I found myself frantically waiting the release dates, calling in a bunch of stores and doing my homework to see which spots would have them available. Nonetheless, both shoes were copped.

EGGPLANT AND COPPER FOAMPOSITES 2010

Nike had an abundant supply of copper foamposites, restocking them after a few days. Resellers were, for lack of better words, screwed. Pairs on ebay were sold for retail and a few stores still have sizes left. The store in my area sold out. The dirty copper colorway is new and unique, resembling a penny. I busted these shoes out today and they truly turn heads.

The Eggplant foamposite recently released on March 6.Nike gave a second chance to those who missed out last year. The Eggplant foamposite 2010 has subtle differences between the 2009 release but is a great looking shoe overall. The infamous eggplant colorway is back and in limited quantities. If you were able to scoop a pair then you were in luck. These shoes sold out all over the place.
