What's the big deal about a sports player wearing a fitted cap from a city that has NOTHING to do with their own "Home" of play? Well, apparently, it was huge in the case of LeBron James. BronBron was the talk to the nation after rocking a New York Yankees fitted at a Cleveland game, during the 2007 playoffs. Now, Nike feels like capitolizing on this ordeal by dropping their Yankee colorway Nike Air Max LeBron 8 V.2. Perfect timing if you ask us, now with the whole talk about him going to New York after his run in Miami. Although, there are no statements made about why they chose to use these colors at this time, it's sort of obvious or just something to think about. With navy on the upper, a white outsole, airbag, swoosh, and lace placket, with a metallic silver swoosh border and figure-8 lace eyelet, it looks pretty damn similar to a New York-inspired design. LeBron grew up a Dallas Cowboys and New York Yankees fan, so who knows!
