The Sartorialist Files: Burberry Winter Storms

Burberry you DID IT AGAIN, you achieved a feat most brands could only dream of accomplishing!! You actually had me gushing aloud when I laid eyes on these new 'Winter Storm Jackets' that all feature an infusion of punk, running with the current trend of spikes and leather on everything!!  I think the leather jacket is by far my favorite.  The trench would've been amazing if the spikes were under the collar ONLY! I think it went a little in the OVERKILL zone with the spikes everywhere but I love the surprise of spikes when you pop the collar.  The peacoat is also just amazing.  Burberry's on to something really sharp and innovative this season.

Cloud 10 Status: Burberry 2010 Summer 'April Showers' Capsule Collection

You can never go wrong with a classic Burberry trench, it looks as if the folks over at Burberry have moved outside of their comfort zone in terms of their trench color palette this year. They are releasing a new line with jackets in a variety of colors reminiscent of a fruit bowl. The collection features jackets, umbrellas, cellphone holders and of course trenches for both men and women...mostly women though!

I'm really feeling that yellow jacket...The collection is set to April 22nd, 2010.
