Cloud 10 Status: Book Rest Lamp
You know for years I've been meaning to buy a decent reading lamp for my side table... The fact that I've put that off for years now just reminds me at how I like to procrastinate. Well Suck UK releases the Book Rest Lamp that not only gives you ample luminescence as well as keeping the exact page you were reading while making your Book Rest Lamp resemble a mini house.
I smell a Triple win all around for this one and it retails for about $60 U.S./Canadian.

Cloud 10 Status: Tobias Wistisen Skull Bead Bracelet
This is definitely a dope piece by Tobias Wistisen (interesting last name) the Skull Bead Bracelet features skull beads made of copper, bronze and 925 silver with silver fastenings attached to braided cord. I could definitely incorporate this conversation piece into my everyday wardrobe. They retail for about 330.00 in British Pounds...do the conversion that's roughly $500 US if I'm not mistaken...

Cloud 10 Status: Gucci's iPad Cases
Gucci is the second luxury brand to foray into the iPad case market (remember I featured the Louis Vuitton cases HERE) anyway they have laced their leather iPad cases with the iconic Gucci interlocking G logo and it comes in three varieties for your shopping pleasure. The cases will go on pre-sale on the www.gucci.com website.
I already admitted that I fell victim to the iPad marketing conglomerate and I too want an iPad...Don't judge me!

Respieto (RESPECT): Fulvio Bonavia's 'A Matter of Taste'
The use of food and other untraditional materials to make clothing and accessories has always intrigued me. Photographer Fulvio Bonavia endeavored to produce some of the tastiest images I've ever seen. When I saw this piece on Highsnobette I couldn't help but to be blown away. I can always respect the ambition and drive of a dope photographer that is artistic with their images.
In this shoot, “A Matter of Taste,” photographer Fulvio Bonavia’s take on bags, shoes, accessories (including a perfume bottle, fish belt, artichoke hat, Parmesan cheese purse, garlic boots and a helmet!) is not just delicious, but somehow both deeply sensual and delightful."
More images of the tasty pieces after the jump!!

The Sartorialist Files: Burberry Round Sport Digital Watch

No I did not choose this Burberry Round Sport Digital watch because its digital and easy to read. I hope to God everyone reading my blog can at least tell the time with an analog watch..-pause-. I chose this watch because along with its sleek black look its just handsome and gives that sport vibe while keeping it professional. The watch retails for about $395 (a steal in my opinion) it is Swiss made and features a rubber strap with stainless steel case with dark nickel plating and tiny pyramids details throughout.

Cloud 10 Status: Dunhill Pens

Hmm I think this might be the first time that I have featured pens on here but hey why not? Every baller that signs checks owns at least one dope pen by Dunhill or Mont Blanc so I said since I have aspirations to ball lets take a look at some pens that are worthy of signing a check or five.

First up from the Limited Collection by Dunhill is the Sentryman Rollerball wrapped in a mix of meteorite (Yes, real meteorite) and crushed black diamonds for a unique look. Man did you hear how DYLAN that combination is METEORITE on some outer space shit and black diamonds??

The next item that takes the pen game to a whole new level is the Sidecar Revolette pen in a ruthenium plated brass skeleton that showcases an 20s and 30s art-deco inspired pattern. I guess writing no longer has to be confined to your standard fountain or Bic pen huh??
WHERE DO I SIGN UP??

The Sartorialist Files: Louis Vuitton Fall/Winter 2010

Well the Louis Vuitton show just wrapped up and some of the first looks from the show have provided some AWESOME pieces that would make excellent staples in any sartorialist's wardrobe! According to Selectism "The focus is on the details, the accessories, and the footwear. “Vienna’s Wiener Werkstätte in the early 20th century attracted a community of artists including Franz Kafka and Egon Schiele with their own creative way of mixing business and leisure style." German artist Christian Schoeler has designed the handpainted leather bags in
collaboration with Louis Vuitton designer Paul Helbers. Inspired by 19th century painting, the bags will be available in very limited numbers across three styles (a clutch bag, a larger holdall and a smaller rucksack). Schoeler has explained that the bags represent an artists’ paint-splattered backpack, “like an accidental customization.” (Hypebeast)

The show featured duffle bags, backpacks, boots, peacoats, and other accessories. Its maddening how Louis Vuitton makes their Ready-To-Wear pieces so hard for the average buyer to purchase. I look at other blogs and see celebrities decked out head to toe in a wide array of LV pieces yet you go to a store and see a couple t-shirts, maybe a hoodie and lots of accessories. Get your stuff together Louis Vuitton and Marc Jacobs!!
