The spectacle that is the Runaway is finally here and available for public viewing. I have so many thoughts about Yeezy's foray into a art driven piece!! I mean from the cinematography, to the art direction and the use of Selita Ebanks as his muse and 'Phoenix'. Yeezy created a piece that went over the heads of many individuals. Art is really not for the masses and it takes a very trained and sometimes pretentious eye to understand. I would say I would prefer to see Snoop Dogg act in 15 feature films than to see Yeezy act ever again!! DID YALL SEE KANG MICHAEL!?!?! THE KANG LOOKING LIKE THE LEAD BANNER OF A JUNKANOO PARADE!! Damn that shit was atrocious! I will be writing a more in-depth analysis of Runaway for my upcoming piece in Stylezine Magazine so stay tuned!!
Well ladies and gents if you don't expect some new output from Kanye Omari West every Friday I don't think you've been paying attention. Kanye's album 'My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy' is slated to drop on November 22nd and features just about every relevant artist in the game right now!! Most of the G.O.O.D Friday selections that Yeezy has leaked himself will not be featured on 'My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy' but Kanye has been hard at work promoting the feature film called 'Runaway' after the title of one the album's singles. Yeezy being the Yeezy he is has been in some hot water this past week too when he released the artwork for the album (that was subsequently scrapped because it was too provacative). See image below!

Man Yeezy is on it with keeping his promise to bring to us brand spanking new music every Friday. G.O.O.D. Fridays as Kanye dubs it sees him release a brand new track that features either him or his production. This track featurres Mos Def (one of my faves), Swizzy, Raekwon and Charlie 'Last Name' Wilson! Charlie Wilson's career is definitely seeing a resurgence since he's been on almost every new Yeezy track except Monster!!!
Shiiiiiiiiiiiid I know somewhere Big Sean is salty as hell.. On the bright side his album is dropping on the same day (September 14th) as Kanye and Kid Cudi. But here is a new track from Ohio's very own native son Scott Mescudi featuring the misunderstood Kanye West. I must say I am digging the direction of the track and the way that Kanye and Cudi refuse to pigeon-hole themselves. The song has a nice mellow rock riff and features a 16 from Kanye towards the end. Erase Me will be one of the tracks on Cudi's sophmore album Man On The Moon II: The Legend Of Mr. Rager.
