With winter knocking on our proverbial door, it is only natural that we start to box up and store away our fresh kicks in exchange for our winter-proof, water-proof, slush-proof boots!  For all of you that pine and count down the days until Spring so you can wear your sneakers without worry of water-damage Adidas SLVR may have just dropped a pair of sneakers with you in mind.  These bad boys have the blueprint of a sneaker but all the durability and aesthetic of a sneaker.  Aptly titled the WINTERBOOT, it features a sneaker tooling with an upper referencing a pair of solid boots. The black/white contrast helps highlight the extensive tooling. Available at select retailers with a retail price of approximately $276 USD.

The Sartorialist Files: Wings + Horns Fall/Winter 2010 Collection

I live in Canada! As a Canadian resident I tend to have a lot of love for Canadian established brands.  Wings + Horns is one of my favorite not only Canadian brands but fashion labels period!  I can always depend on Wings + Horns to make products that are not only of exquisite quality but the neutral, subdued colors they usually pick just works.  The emphasis and focus is placed not on the colors but on the quality and limited quantity.  I just had my favorite pair of Wings + Horns jeans repaired!  Here are the new pieces (some at least) from their winter collection.
