Can anyone tell me the last time Reebok was poppin in the streets? I mean even that logo looks antiquated and outdated, did James Naismith himself make that Reebok logo? I think Swizz Beatz' new partnership may propel Reebok back into the mainstream and pump a couple of much-needed CC's into the floundering brand. I must say first of all, the all black Colorway of the Reebok Classics Kamikaze are SO FLY! I would rock those in a heartbeat, I don't even like sneakers or Reebok as a brand but these bad boys!! PHEW!
The Lowdown: "Based on Shawn Kemps’ Kamikaze II, the sneaker pushes forth a bold new look for Reebok. Several colors were shown, including a mega-flashy pink fishscale version created specially for the 2011 Grammy’s (where Swizz and Jay-Z won an award for ‘On To The Next One’.) Further colorways – black on white, black on black, and the previously seen grey and neon green – can be seen in our gallery."
Swizz Beats also has some other endorsement deals and projects in the way, glad to see the talented producer and artist is expanding his empire!!
