The Sartorialist Files: Converse x Woolrich
Ooooo weeee this is a mash up that has me impressed, Converse has teamed up with brand Woolrich to create a very rich, warm and inviting line of sneakers and boots for the Fall! The plaid wool mixed with that chocolate brown leather screams WIN, WIN WIN (T-Pain voice).
According to Highsnobiety "Once again they use original Hunter plaid and woolen fabrics, bringing the Woolrich look to classic Converse footwear, including the Chuck Taylor and other outdoor silhouettes.
“Distinctly original American brands, Converse and Woolrich combine to showcase originality combined with patterns and designs that have stood the test of time. This third partnership of the two brands features original Hunter plaid and woolen fabrics that made Woolrich the original outdoor clothing company. These Chuck Taylor All Star shoes and boots feature, warm, cozy fabrics with origins in durability and utility.”
The boots, Chucks and hi-top boots are all MEAN as hell. I need to get a pair of each man!! Different weather conditions will make each a nice addition to my wardrobe!
