Respeito (Respect): Willy Verginer
Italian artist and sculptor Willy Verginer chose wood as his medium and the end results are mind-boggling. Yall know besides music and and an appreciation for dope fashion I am an art buff (which reminds me I need to check out the Art Museum soon). But these pieces in their minimal setting speak so much. Willy Verginer carves wood into human figures that look almost life-like and tell a story. The pop of color applied to each piece just adds another layer to the dynamic pieces. Very thought-provoking indeed. Respeito!
