Drake's debut album 'Thank Me Later' has finally hit stores and its officially DRAKEMANIA! 'Thank Me Later' after a few listens can be described as a brooding, introspective look at the ups and downs of newfound, albeit re-discovered (since Drake has enjoyed fame as a star of Degrassi) fame. It chronicles a lot of Drake's fears and hopes in his new found success and a few odes to love and heartbreak. Stand out tracks include Unforgettable (which features a timeless sample from the one and only Aaliyah and a some sticky bars from Young Jeezy), Fireworks (which features a shout out to Drake's brief tryst with Rihanna), Miss Me, Light Up, Thank Me Later and of course the album's lead two singles Over and Find Your Love. Overall I give Drake 8.5/10 for a solid first effort, I am excited to see what else Drake has in store as he has stated that he has already gone to work on his new album.
Anyway Drake has also had the honor of having some clothing companies like Alife and Crooks and Castles dedicate some t-shirts to him in anticipation for the release of his album.
