Who said you can't become a singer on the cusp of stardom via Youtube? Just ask 20 year old, Vero Beach, Florida native Priscilla Renea. Priscilla has made the leap from bedroom fantasy singing and Youtubing to Capital Records' list of signed artists. I first heard about Priscilla through my cousin who wanted me to download her infectious, girl anthem 'Dollhouse' for her. I gave it a listen and got a little rock and pop fused with R&B vibe from Priscilla. The song was all about female empowerment and definitely reminded me of Fefe Dobson (who's making a highly anticipated comeback btw) meets Avril Lavigne. Priscilla's debut album entitled 'Jukebox' features a slew of producers and contains the standout track 'Rockabye Baby' an ode to the dangers of teenage pregnancy is laced with lyrics that pay homage to our favorite nursery rhymes. Other standout tracks include Lovesick, Mr. Workabee and Stone Garden!
