Vid Pick
Kanye's latest video.
Heartless.
He's either lost his mind completely
or
he's a creative genius not of our time.
I'm banking it's the latter.
Go 'Ye.

Change IV A Dollar
I want to shop in thrift stores in Singapore, wear tarnished bangles and too many rings.
I'm a dork. But I'm slowly beginning to be okay with it. I'm under the impression that when undork people see things like this:
their breathing pattern doesn't become irregular, they don't feel in a sense of panic, get sweaty palms on occasion, or unconsicously put the rest of the world on mute.
It's just not normal.

So, I really hate posting things that 'everyoneandtheymama' have already posted, debated, or blogged about. BUT, seeing as I'm 94% NBA fanatic, I have to post this:
Ladies & Gents (but mostly gents since ladies don't really follow), Allen "The Answer" Iverson is now a Detroit Piston!
The first question I posed to my boyfriend was not "Who did they trade him for?" or "How many points per game does he average?" or any other of the important questions one should ask. No, my first question was "What's his number gonna be?" Naturally resorting to my feministic character, I was baffled by the potential conflict this would cause! But, crisis averted. Stuckey offered up his number (#3) to Ivo but the NBA ruled that a change of numbers wasn't allowed until after the season had ended. So, Iverson graciously yielded his beloved #3 in exchange for a team that works together (and well), and makes a [silent] promise to go to the Ship.
Small price to pay, eh?
Now, after I got over that whole ordeal, I started to hear the whispers that Detroit Piston fans weren't so happy about it. (This is when the important questions came into play.) Okay so we might've had to give up Chauncey, McDyess and some other guy which seems like an unfair trade if you look at it at first glance but think about it--while Chauncey was the posterboy for the Pistons, Allen Iverson is the posterboy for whatever team he's playing for. How many of you even followed Chauncey's career before he played for the Pistons? Did you know that he's been in the league since 1997? In this time, playing for the Celtics, Toronto, DENVER, Orlando Magic, and the Minnesota Timberwolves before he came to Detroit. Also, he averages 15PPG which is not bad but when compared to AI's 28PPG, Chauncey starts to look a little shabby. All I'm saying is give the brother a chance Piston fans. I suppose it's okay to mourn the loss of Chauncey, McDyess, and the other guy but need I remind you, the Pistons haven't won a championship since 2004 and have kept pretty much the same team, give or take. It's time for a change. I'm sure you'll wipe those tears when AI helps take us to the Ship and get another ring. Speaking of rings AI doesn't have ONE!! I don't know about you, but I'm partial to guys who've bust their ass in the league and carried their teams and have nothing to show for it. Hence KEVIN GARNETT being my absolute favorite player. Chauncey has one, let's give AI one too.
